Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Night Game Drive
Upon you arrival at Entebbe, a driver guide from Entale African Safaris will be ready waiting to pick and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park. Suppose your flight comes before afternoon hours. The drive to the park is about 4 to 5 hours depending on the traffic flow. Consider a stopover at Kayabwe equator point along Kampala-Masaka road for photographs and is a recommendable point for lunch. Reaching the park at late afternoon hours, check-in at your lodge and rest.
The will do a night game drive which is done on torches, is one of the amazing adventures to do in Ugandan savannah parks. Night game drives are chances to watch several nocturnal species which are rarely seen during day time. It’s common on a night game drive to find leopards actively hunting. After the night game hunting with torches, then will return to your lodge for the overnight.

Day 2: Explore Lake Mburo (game drive & boat cruise)
This day is to explore the usual life of Lake Mburo National Park, the morning game drive through various driving track made in the park. This avails more chances of seeing what couldn’t be able to see at night. On this game drive there are chances of seeing animals like zebras, impala, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, larger mammals like buffalos, hippos, giraffes among others. On a drive well also find rare species like lions, leopards lousily relaxed, and wild dogs among others. The game drive at the park is an opportunity of watching so many bird species plus a lot of games. This park is free from elephants; there are no chances of watching one.
After lunch; take on an afternoon boat lunch at Lake Mburo which is the largest among all lakes within the park. the boat cruise can last for about hours and is filled with exciting moments of seeing both water and land mammals. Among the aquatic life to encounter are the hippo, crocodiles, monitor lizards and so many water bird species. Also ill find a number of land mammals like buffalos, and zebras, giraffes seen at the shores of the lake drawing water or relaxed at the lake’s shores.

Day 3: Morning Horseback Riding & Transfer to Bwindi
This morning enjoy a picnic served breakfast, this morning take a morning horseback riding through the open savannah woodlands. The horseback riding is a special safari activity which is only designed for travelers to Lake Mburo national park. The horseback riding is arranged by Mihingo lodge and can last for to 3 hours. Check-out of your lodge and proceed on a drive westwards stopping at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park using the Nkuringo sector. With lunch en-route ill reach the park in the evening hours.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking
Trekking will possibly be Nkuringo which are easy to access from Driving from the lodge to the starting point is very early morning at 6am. At Rushaga sector expect to spend more hours searching for the gorillas. This is possible as trekking time depends on how long the assigned family has traveled. So, you can ask park ranger for this experience, and spend more hours in the forest. Get briefed, be grouped and assigned to an armed park ranger to lead in the trek which starts at 8am. You should be well equipped wearing long pants, jungle boots, carry at least 1 litter of drinking water and rain proof gears. The trek continues for 30 minutes to 6 hours search and find the gorillas, and meeting with them is a mesmerizing moments of the jungle. After you return to the starting point, enjoy your relaxed lunch and take a rest at your lodge.

Day 5: Batwa Community & Lake Bunyonyi
Drive to Batwa community for cultural experience of the people who live close the gorillas. The Batwa community was reserved to conserve the almost extinct Batwa due to forced eviction which was intended to protect the mountain gorillas. These indigenous people found at the outskirts of Bwindi forest, and this cultural visit complement on gorilla experience. You can buy some handmade crafts as souvenirs.
After, drive transfer to Lake Bunyonyi an amazing spot to relax off especially after trekking the gorillas with lunch en-route. Check-in at your lodge at Lake Bunyonyi and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala
This morning enjoy a relaxed served breakfast, and embark on a drive back to Kampala. Consider lunch en-route at Igongo Cultural Center in Mbarara and can use an hour to visit the Museum for tales about the western Uganda culture and traditional. Reach Kampala by late evening hours and your drop off will be either at Entebbe International airport or to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.
