A domestic flight starts from Kajjansi airstrip flying to either Kihihi airstrip or Kisoro airstrip which takes about an hour and 30 minutes.

Detailed Trip
Day 1: Fly to Kisoro, drive to Bwindi and Visit the Batwa
Upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, Entale African Safaris driver guide will drive you to Kajjansi airstrip to board for your scheduled domestic flight flying you to Kisoro airstrip. Will find our driver guide ready to pick and transfer you to Bwindi via Buhoma gate, check-in at your lodge. After lunch refreshments, will take an afternoon drive to the local Batwa community for cultural entertainments.

Day 2: Trek Gorilla and Lake Bunyonyi
Early morning will hurry driving to Buhoma starting point for the trekking etiquette briefed which starts at 7:30am. Get arranged in groups of 8 trekkers assigned trekking a single habituated family alongside an armed and experienced driver guide. Gorilla trekking time is unpredictable but can take about 30 minutes to about 4 hours to meet these amazing apes. Gorilla trekking is walking through moist thick jungle, hikes and slopes, hills and valleys until you encounter the gorillas which is a lifetime experiences. On finding the gorillas, one has a full one hour before their presence watching and silently following the gorillas, as the juveniles keep entertaining you with jumps.
Trekking is very exhausting, but after the experience with the apes, you return to the starting point, refresh with lunch and then you check-out of your lodge and drive to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation. At Lake Bunyonyi, possibly can take an evening boat ride for relaxing, and check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight overlooking this amazing lake.

Day 3: Fly back to Kampala
This day enjoy a relaxed morning with a picnic breakfast, and reluctantly will board for a full day drive to Kabale airstrip where you will board for a flight back to Kajjansi airstrip, and will take a drive to Entebbe International Airport for your next flight back home.
