A 6 Days Gorilla Trekking and Safari Tours to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park takes you to trek mountain gorillas, and watch wild games as major adventures. This trip involves long distance drives, gorilla trekking, Batwa cultural visits, and scenic moments at Lake Bunyonyi, tracking the rare tree climbing lions, game drives and boat launch and suppose chimpanzee tracking at Kyambura gorge.

Trip Details
Day1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
The first day of the trip, Entale African Safaris experienced driver guide will be ready to pick you and transfer from Kampala driving through western Uganda via Masaka-Mbarara-Kabale to Kisoro. Being the first day of driving, consider 30 minute en-route stopover at Kayabwe at the equator and another stopover can be at Mbarara city for lunch. Then will continue on a drive reaching Bwindi by evening hours, the driving from Kampala can last for about 8 to 9 hours. Will enter the park through Rushaga gate, check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day2: Gorilla trekking
Allow the trek to be physical, spending more hours searching for the gorillas. This is possible as trekking time depends on how long the assigned family has traveled. So, you can ask park ranger for this experience, and spend more hours in the forest. Get briefed, be grouped and assigned to an armed park ranger to lead in the trek which starts at 8am. You should be well equipped wearing long pants, jungle boots, carry at least 1 litter of drinking water and rain proof gears. The trek continues for 30 minutes to 6 hours search and find the gorillas, and meeting with them is a mesmerizing moments of the jungle. After you return to the starting point, enjoy your relaxed lunch and take a rest at your lodge.

Day3: Visit Batwas and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Drive to Batwa community for cultural experience of the people who live close the gorillas. The Batwa community was reserved to conserve the almost extinct Batwa due to forced eviction which was intended to protect the mountain gorillas. These indigenous people found at the outskirts of Bwindi forest, and this cultural visit complement on gorilla experience. You can buy some handmade crafts as souvenirs.
After, drive transfer to Lake Bunyonyi an amazing spot to relax off especially after trekking the gorillas with lunch en-route. Check-in at your lodge at Lake Bunyonyi and relax for the rest of the day.

Day4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP en-route to Ishasha
After a hurried breakfast, and depart on a drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On this drive consider an en-route to Ishasha sector south of Queen Elizabeth National Park for wildlife viewing on a short game drive and tracking tree climbing lions. This en-route also caters for lunch provision from one of the lodges located at the sector. A game drive here rewards with savannah hostages like herds of elephants, antelopes, lions, leopards, buffalos, among so many.
Then proceed on a drive of about 2 hours reaching to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day5: Game Drive & Boat Cruise
It’s an amazing day of going out to watch amazing wild animals, birds and certain specific features like crater lakes. This game drive will be done at Kasenyi which is the best section of watching a rich wild biodiversity. On this game drive expect to watch some of the big fives like lions, leopards, elephants and herds of buffalos, also expect to watch herds of antelopes, warthogs, wild dogs, hippos, so many bird species among others. The game drive through various driving tracks, will last for about 3 hours. The take a drive to Lake Katwe to encounters locals in salt mining afterwards return to your lodge for lunch.
In afternoon, a boat launch at Kazing Channel one of the amazing adventures done on safari to Uganda. This boat launch is done on Kazing channel which is conduit of two small lakes Lake Edward and Lake Gorge. This boat launch is very amazing like there no other with a lot of pursuit including wild animals seen at the bank of the channel feeding, relaxing, and drawing water, a lot of aquatic life including hippos, crocodiles, monitor lizards and a number of bird species. For those interested in butterflies it’s a common adventure here. After for about 2 to 3 hours return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day6: Drive back to Kampala
On this last day, after an early breakfast, should check-out of your lodge and hurry to Kyambura gorge to track chimpanzees here. Chimpanzees at Kyambura are half habituated that on their encounter one has a chance for a close-up. Tracking chimpanzee at Kyambura almost guarantee your encounter with them but not 100% as it depends on their current location and trackers ability to walk through the tropics of the gorge in searching for the apes.
Then will drive back to Kampala on a drive which can take about 6 hours with lunch en-route in Mbarara city. Proceeding to Kampala will reach by late evening hours and your drop off will be either at Entebbe International airport or to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.
