Our 3 days safari to Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s most common safari done by many travelers. Entale African Safaris presents you a safari to Uganda’s largest and most visted national park in the country. The only route which enables you have a glimpse on the full list of the big five including an en-route to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the only rhinos in Uganda. The safari starts from Kampala en-route to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and ends at Murchison Falls National Park and back to Kampala.

The means of transportation is by road using the 4×4 land cruiser safari vehicle, every day of the trip starts with breakfast, has lunch en-route and ends as planned in the detailed itinerary. The trip is suitable for luxury, midrange and budget travelers.

Details of a trip

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park en-route to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Our driver from Entale African safari will pick you from either your lodge or from Entebbe Airport, to transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park.  Along nature rewarding drive will en-route to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola to track the only rhinos in their natural sanctuary. Rhino tracking can last for about 2 to 3 hours along a lot of rewards like antelopes, bird species, then will have lunch refreshments at the famous Kabalega dinner. The will embark on a drive reaching Murchison Falls Park in the evening hours, check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Drive to Explore Murchison Falls National Park (Game drive & Boat Cruise)

This morning will take an early game drive in the savannahs of the northern section of Murchison Falls National Park. The game drive rewards watching several encounters in the wild including; herds of buffalos, elephants, various antelopes, zebras, towers of giraffes, warthogs, wild dogs, hyenas, pride of lions, leopards among many others. The game is done with your 4×4 land cruiser watching over the rooftop pop-up through various truck going to the Delta point hosting the highest concentration of animals in the park. Those interested in bird watching, several bird species which are about 350 bird species should be expected, and shoebills among the famous birds to encounter.

During the afternoon hours, after lunch consider an afternoon boat cruise going to the bottom of the falls. The cruise last for about 3 hours, packed with amazing sceneries like stunning walls of eroded cliffs, watch a number of aquatic life, and various land mammals relaxed and grazing at the river banks. Reaching the bottom is the wonderful thunderous of huge rapids force into a narrow gorge and forming a humus bubbled brownish waters flowing the Victoria Nile.

Will return to Para dock and then drive with a memory filled evening to your lodge for an overnight and dinner.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive, and Drive back to Kampala

The last day of the trip, start this day with a delicious breakfast, check-out from your lodge. Take a morning game drive rewarding with morning encounters. Then will take a drive to the top of the Murchison falls for an overview of fuming thunderous roars of the rapids forcing into the narrow gorge.

Take a drive in the afternoon back to Kampala, with a lunch en-route will reach Kampala in the late evening hours. Drop of will be at your hotel/lodge in Kampala/ Entebbe or at Entebbe International Airport for your next flight back home.
