Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Tarangire National Park for a game drive and picnic lunch. Tarangire National Park is named after the Tarangire River that crosses through it. The park is famous for its big herds of elephants, huge baobab trees and high numbers of predators. There is a plethora of wildlife to see and explore here!
Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will leave Tarangire and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will cross the Ngorongoro Highlands until we reach the Serengeti gate. Here we will spend this day exploring Serengeti National Park on game drives. The Serengeti is the most famous park in all of Africa. It features more than 15,000 square kilometers of savannah full of lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants and many other wild animals.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, we will experience the last game drive in Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for our overnight stay on the crater rim. The Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see while on safari in Tanzania for its high density of wild animals. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a conservation project where the Maasai and their livestock live together with wild animals.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast, we will drive down to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we drive back to Arusha where your safari ends.
