Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Your driver guide pick you up from your hotel early in the morning for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya’s famous game reserve. You will be in a private safari vehicle. You will stop briefly enroute at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of the largest Valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space.
Arrive at your lodge in Masai Mara for a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts, allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the reserve ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Masai Mara Extended Game Drive
You will be taken on full day game drives today, starting at 7am after early morning breakfast with picnic lunch in the park. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active. As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible, convenient if traveling with children or if on a honeymoon when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some of the days. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After early breakfast optional visit masai village and boat ride on the way to Nakuru arriving in time for late lunch. After proceed for the evening game drive. The park is well known for the flamingoes and other birds. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
After early breakfast spend the morning in Nakuru National Park where you have a chance to see flamingos among other birds [about 350 species recorded]. This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the Rhino and is also home to Columbus monkeys. Leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope. Afterwards depart to nearby Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch, do an evening boat ride on Crescent Island and later dinner and overnight at the resort.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
After early breakfast, proceed to Hell’s gate National park where you will have a chance to visit the Geothermal Power Plant in Ol Karia and the Hot Springs. This is the only park that allows transport by walking and cycling. There is an optional visit to Crescent Island for a boat ride where you watch hippos plus other wild animals. Later after lunch depart to Nairobi arriving at 5 pm drop off at your hotel.
