Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, meet your private safari guide and begin the scenic drive towards Nyungwe National Park. Enjoy Rwanda's beautiful rolling hills, tea plantations, and countryside landscapes along the way.
Arrive at your luxury forest lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day
Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe National Park
Early start to a guided chimpanzee trekking adventure through Nyungwe’s tropical rainforest. Watch these incredible primates in the wild and learn about their social behavior and conservation.
You will return to the lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing in the tea plantations and beautiful forest scenery.

Day
Scenic Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, drive north toward Volcanoes National Park with spectacular landscapes of western Rwanda and views of Lake Kivu along the way.
Arrive at your luxury lodge in the Virunga Mountains and spend the evening relaxing before your gorilla trekking adventure.

Day
Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Today is the peak of your luxury Rwanda primates safari. Have an early breakfast and go to the park headquarters for a briefing before you enter the rainforest with experienced rangers.
Once you locate the gorillas, spend an amazing hour watching their familial relationships and natural behavior.
Back to your lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day
Golden Monkey Trekking – Return to Kigali
Enjoy a guided golden monkey trekking experience in the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park. Watch these energetic primates moving through the vegetation before returning to your lodge.
After lunch, transfer to Kigali International Airport for your onward flight, ideally scheduled for the evening.
